Abandoning all expectations, "Three Songs" represents a welcome addition to Katie's 2004 CD release "Terrible, Terrible." Shades of "She hates love songs" once again come alive as Katie ensnares listeners with an introspective glance at the world in which we all live. A world where our hopes, dreams, and desires clash with the reality of dealing with relationships, love, and loss.

Katie's powerful lyrics draw the listener into her experience and remind us that it is possible to live an entire lifetime within the span of a single moment. And, in that moment, Katie leaves us breathless, desperate with hope, drenched in anticipation, and wanting more.

In each of these 3 songs, Katie seizes a moment in time and makes that moment her own. A microcosm of real life experience set against a backdrop of personal anecdotes, "Three Songs" seems to speak to us during the most important moments in our lives.

When you think that 3 songs can't possibly be enough, Katie Davis proves us wrong.  Sometimes, "Three Songs" is all that a listener needs.
